Leica Sofort, D-Lux, V-Lux Cameras Now Available on Amazon India: Price, Features
Amazone india has announced an exclusive partnership with Leica Camera to start selling its high-end range. The new partnership comes days after the German camera brand launched its first partnered store in the country that is located in New Delhi. The initial range of Leica Camera models that are exclusively available for purchase through Amazon India includes the Leica Sofort, Leica D-Lux, and Leica V-Lux, ranging from Rs. 25,000 to Rs. 90,000. The online marketplace has also listed Leica binoculars and camera accessories. Furthermore, the Leica Camera range comes with no-cost EMI options and are Amazon Prime eligible with next-day delivery in most cities.
In the new range, the Leica Sofort is the cheapest with a price tag of Rs. 25,000. The instant film camera, which was launched in September last year, features a fixed 60mm (34mm equivalent) lens with a maximum aperture of f/12.7, paired with an integrated flash module. It comes with eight preloaded modes, including Macro, Automatic, Selfie, Self-timer, Party and People, Sport and Action, and Double Exposure. Featuring Orange, Mint, and White colour options, the Sofort camera packs a Lithium-ion battery and measures 124x58x137mm.
The Leica D-Lux, on the other hand, sits in the middle with a price tag of Rs. 85,000. The camera has a 4/3-inch image sensor with 12.8-megapixel resolution. It also supports 4K video recording and has a Leica DC Vario-Summilux lens. Besides, the camera sports an LCD monitor with a 920k-dot resolution and has Wi-Fi and NFC connectivity options.
Leica has brought the V-Lux as its most premium camera at a price of Rs. 90,000. The camera has Leica DC Vario-Elmarit f/2.8 - 4.0/ 9.1 - 146mm ASPH (35mm equivalent: 25-400mm) lens that supports a zoom range between 25 and 400mm and a large, 10inch sensor. There is a 3-inch LCD monitor as well as a 2.4-megapixel OLED electronic viewfinder. The camera also has Wi-Fi and NFC connectivity options and supports 4K video recording.
