On the Road Again (Or... The Great Admission Selfie-Off)

Hard to believe the application deadline is just a week away! The Office of Admission has started to hunker down into "reading season," carefully examining your transcripts, reading your essays and starting the process of admitting students to the class of 2020. Congrats to our early admits so far, and join up with the class of 2020 on Facebook here!

The past two months have been a whirlwind of travel for the team here in the Office of Admission. We've been quite literally circling the globe to meet our future freshman. I hope you got the chance to interact with someone from Tulane over the last few months. We've really enjoyed getting to know you all and are exited to be able to put faces with names as we begin to review your applications.

Just so you can get some insight as to where we've been, have a look at the numbers:

Oh, and you might be wondering about the title of this blog. Let's just say we had a little competition in the office to see who could get the best selfie at a high school visit. You be the judge of who won

I got it started off at Palisades Charter HS in Los Angeles

Morgan stepped up to the plate at Columbia Grammar and Prep in NYC. Nice Tulane sweatshirt! 

Then Sarah came in strong at Mamaroneck High School in NY. Note the Titanic homage.  

You can barely see Jill but here she is at Sharon High School in Mass. 

And Sarah crushed it at one of our biggest feeder schools in the country, Staples High School in CT 

I brought it international at the Korean Minjok Leadership Academy in Korea 

Owen brought us home literally with this selfie at Walt Whitman High School in MD, which also happens to be his alma mater.

Travel doesn't always take you too far from home! Valerie visited some schools on the North Shore of Lake Pontchartrain by taking the longest bridge in the world.
